One of the reasons I kept on coming back to Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu is their wonderful bathroom/mini Sentou :3
It is not just the inside of the bath but also the view from the bath :3
From one window you can see Skytree and from another you can see the Pagoda of Senso-Ji :3
The owner was kind enough to let me take some photos after it closed 🙂
I have been staying there every time I went to Japan 🙂As a word of warning this bath is seriously hot!!! I couldn’t stay in there for too long but while being inside I felt how my muscles relaxed one by one, how the tensions eased, my mind eased and how I felt like I was at home (o^-^o)
I wish I could be there right now although I probably should take a bath right now as I’m shaking a bit and feeling like it is cold all the time (-_-)
The breakfast in the Ryokan is another reason I like to come back as it is the best breakfast I ever had in any hotel!
You can chose between a western style and a Japanese breakfast which aren’t too big but I found them to be the perfect size for me (to me the size of the meal doesn’t matter as much as the quality and taste of the food and the care with which it was prepared 🙂
The only thing I was missing on the Japanese breakfast was the Nattou 😀
It was still awesome :3
I especially liked the fresh fruits you got along with the food as you could really see how freshly prepared the fruits were 🙂
I didn’t get a better breakfast even at hotels that cost three times the money 🙂I wish everyone a great time with sweet dreams and the tender feeling of warmth throughout your body (^-^)/
